JOB SUMMARY
The On-boarding Specialist position is primarily responsible for the on-boarding and further fulfilment of clients and entities data on the Capricorn Investment Platform and general assistance to the Document Administrators.
Job description
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
On-boarding & fulfilment:
- Responsible for monitoring all client business relationships entered.
- Fully understand risk rating assigned to all new client business relationships and impact on FIA and AML
- Be aware of latest FIA and AML policies/programs and/or any relevant FIA and AML news/information.
- Fully comply with relevant Internal Business Processes applicable to client On-boarding
- Understand all operations in Client Administration and the impact on day-to-day processes.
- Responsible for KYC screening all new and existing clients before they are on-boarded.
- Ensure all FIA documents are verified, correct and in line with FIA compliance and Internal Business Processes
- Ensure clients’ risks are assessed and captured when on board and fully understand functionality on AML monitoring system.
- Ensure data quality checks are done when clients are on boarded (DQ on Investment Platform)
- Provide guidance to Channels relating to documents required for opening of accounts and ongoing AML requirements (Re-verification)
- Assist with regulatory and Internal Audit inspections.
- Responsible for linking and authorizing clients on Capricorn Online Login platform as well as the Bank Windhoek Electronic platform.
- Responsible for verifying client data on the Electronic Channel linking, as per generated daily report.
- Verify that Special Instructions are captured accurately and timeously.
- Daily extraction of Bank and Cession reports
- Compilation of USR058 report
- Ensure archiving is maintained as per agreed contract with Document Warehouse
- Spot checking of data quality on The Document Warehouse.
- Ensure that the monthly CFP, SSO reports are saved and actioned.
- Ensure that the WRAP rebalancing process is timely executed.
- Aid the Fulfillment Administrators in the day-to-day operations where needed.

Minimum requirements
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 with at least 5 years relevant experience
- Diploma in Office Administration will be an added advantage.
