Introduction
As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft operating systems and cloud platforms, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems. The roll will operate in a multi-country and multi-site environment, providing a 24x7x365 service to the group companies. This position may require the System Engineer to travel to each of the countries where the CIH Group have offices and/or subsidiaries. The position may also be required to travel for training purposes.
Job description

Responsibilities:

·        Design, implement, and manage Microsoft-based infrastructure solutions.

·        Administer and optimize Windows Server environments.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.

·        Ensure the security and compliance of systems through regular monitoring and updates.

·        Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

·        Provide technical support to end-users and assist in resolving IT-related problems.

·        Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement best practices for system automation and configuration management.

·        Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Microsoft technologies and cloud platforms.

Experience/Knowledge & Skills

·        3-5 Years hands-on experience as System Administrator/Engineer

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

·        Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on Microsoft technologies.

·        Strong expertise in Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.

·        Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions.

·        Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V, Citrix or VMware.

·        Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

·        Relevant certifications, such as MCSE or Azure certifications, are a plus.

·        Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
