Responsible to support the design, coordination, implementation and the evaluation of initiatives that enhance the wellbeing of our employees. The role promotes a culture of health, wellbeing, and resilience among employees by coordinating and delivering wellness programs, providing support services, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring alignment with the wellbeing strategies that align with business goals.
Job description

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)
 
1.       Program Delivery and Support
         •   Assist in the design, coordinating, delivering, and monitoring of the wellbeing strategy and annual
             wellbeing calendar.
         •   Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining health promotion/wellness programs. 
         •   Coordinate wellbeing campaigns, events, and awareness activities in line with international and national health
             observances.
         •  Plans and coordinates company-wide wellbeing initiatives (e.g. blood donation clinics, World Aids Day
            Campaigns, etc), health screen assessments and vaccination clinics as part of the wellbeing  offering.
          •  Provide guidance and support to employees on wellbeing matters and available resources 
          •   Promote the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) services and ensure effective utilization.
          •  Leads the development of initiatives and implementation of wellness programs by the wellness champions and
              is also responsible for developing timeline
          •   Identify wellbeing risks and trends through data and feedback and escalate to the Manager: Employee
              Wellbeing.
           •  Manage logistics and communication for wellbeing activities and partnerships.
 
2.       Stakeholder Engagement
         •  Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.e. HCBP, Wellbeing Champions, MCCS and Line Management) to
             embed wellbeing practices across the business.
          •  Collaborate with external partners to enhance the reach and impact of wellbeing initiatives.
 
3.        Develop Wellness Framework 
           ·   Establish and maintain a fully functional Wellness Champion network within all business units/support units. 
           ·    Provide direction/ support/ activities to wellness champions.
           ·    Offer suitable Wellness Champion training on an annual basis. Research, plan, liaise and execute all aspects of
                this annual training to upskill the Wellness Champions.  
           ·    Works with external consultants and vendors to enhance the well-being offering (i.e. psychologists,
                rehabilitation centres, doctors etc.).
 
4.        Monitoring, Reporting and Evaluation
          ·     Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of all data collected health advising, health
                screenings, disease management and health promotion activities.
          ·     Support the preparation of periodic reports and insights to measure impact and inform decision making.
          ·     Contribute to the continuous improvement of wellbeing programs through feedback and post initiative
                evaluations.
 
5.        Financials 
          Budgets
          ·   Coordinate and liaise with all parties to ensure on-time payments of all service providers within approved
               budget.  
 
6.       Policies
         ·    Support the Manager: Employee Wellbeing in reviewing and updating related policies, ensuring alignment
              with legislation.
 
7.       Counselling / Wellness sessions
          ·   Provide ethical support for employees with health and personal challenges. 
          ·   Timeously respond and assistance to requests from employees / business units
          ·   Arrange high quality of professional counselling to various levels of employees and line management.
          ·   Provide wellness sessions to individuals or work groups on various health topics. 
          ·   Follow up with individuals to adjust program and encourage adherence/participation.
 
8.       Awareness and Education
          ·  Educate staff on different lifestyle issues in order to promote wellness and increase employee-productivity.
          ·   Assist in developing and distributing wellbeing communication materials (i.e., newsletters, posters and intranet
              content)
          ·    Assist in/ Facilitate the delivery of wellbeing-related training and workshops.

Experience 
·         At least 2-4years’ experience in wellness, wellbeing or Human Capital related role.
·         Experience in program coordination, data reporting and stakeholder engagement. 
·         Counselling experience in corporate environment will be an added advantage.
·         Computer literacy is essential (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet).
·         Code 08 Driver’s licence
 
QUALIFICATION
·          Degree in Psychology or Human Resources related field
·          Certification or training in employee wellness relevant courses will be an added advantage
