KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAS)

Project & Workflow Management

Coordinate all marketing projects, campaigns, and deliverables across the team.

Act as the "traffic officer," assigning tasks, managing priorities, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Maintain the marketing calendar, including social media schedules, events, campaigns, sponsorship activations, CSR initiatives and content deadlines.

Regularly update stakeholders on project timelines, deliverables, and priorities.

Liaise with creative team and suppliers to ensure adherence to briefs and timelines.

Communicate process and activity schedules indicating when, where and how campaigns/projects will be executed and implemented. 

Marketing Operations & Execution

Manage day-to-day marketing operations including social media posting schedules, website posting schedules, event coordination, and campaign rollouts internally and externally, newsletters, marketing material reviews and updates.

Liaise with external suppliers, agencies, media houses, and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials and services.

Coordinate with radio stations for adverts, interviews, promotions, and on-air campaigns.

Oversee stock levels and quality of marketing collateral, branding, merchandise, and promotional materials.

Liaise with suppliers on marketing material and collateral on the orders, designs and delivery timelines.

Sponsorships & Partnerships & CSR

Manage sponsorship, partnership and CSR deliverables and ensure all obligations are fulfilled.

Ensure marketing needs and checklist for sponsorships. Eg. Gifts, prizes, branding setup, timelines etc.

Work closely with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders to maximize exposure and value.

Track sponsorship ROI and provide reports on effectiveness.

Financial & Administrative Management

Track and process marketing invoices and supplier payments.

Assist in managing and monitoring the marketing budget, ensuring cost-efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of expenses, vendor agreements, and stock usage.

Events & Activations

Support the planning and execution of events, activations, and sponsorships.

Manage guest lists, RSVPs, forms, and event communications.

Coordinate logistics, supplier management, and on-the-ground support for events.

Ensure post-event reporting, feedback, and budget reconciliations are completed.

Ensure real-time event an/or post-event communication is planned for and excecuted, eg. Social Media updates, newsletters etc.

Internal Relationships

Build strong working relationships with other entities and departments within the group to align marketing efforts.

Act as a liaison to ensure collaboration and consistent messaging across the business.

Share updates, reports, and campaigns internally to encourage engagement and support.

Assist with the distribution and management of internal communication plans, campaigns, training facilitation and planning.

OTHER DUTIES

The person should be willing to do any other reasonable and lawful instruction/task and it is normally carried out on time and correct.

TEAM SUPPORT

Participate in cross functional projects and provide input as and when requested on any other programs within the department, on an ongoing basis.

Support with various functions within the Marketing team, as and when required.

 

Minimum requirements

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing suppliers, sponsors, media, and internal stakeholders.

Budget tracking and financial administration experience.

Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.

Team player who can work collaboratively across functions.

Has a valid drivers licence (Code B or above)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).

2 years’ experience in marketing coordination, project/traffic management

Experience with media relations and sponsorships.

Event management experience

Experience managing social media calendars and campaigns.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
