Overall accountable and responsible for the performance and routine running of the Branch as per the key business area objectives Company, Conduct, Customer, Colleague, Citizenship. Provide management and leadership capability to the Branch by optimizing resources and effectively managing risks to achieve the Bank’s objectives. Employee mentorship and leading the charge in customer service and sales execution across all business segments. Drive customer relationships and ensure through optimization of the products and services. The BM will have overall responsibility of the branch performance on each product line.
Job description

Financial   Management

Grow branch profitability through advances, liabilities, assets and interest/non-interest revenue

Develop forecasts, financial targets and business plans for the branch in line with the total bank budget

Responsible for planning, management and execution of the Branch’s budget.

Management of Sales 

Identify potential growth areas for the branch and analyze trends and competitive environments.

Identify and utilise opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targets


Customer Focus

Relationship and Stakeholder Management

Building long-term working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation

Overall responsible for the Customer Relationship Management model in the Branch.



People Management

Provide management and leadership capabilities in the Branch.

Ensure effective workforce planning and people capacity requirements for the branch.

Overall responsible for performance and talent management in the branch.

Minimum requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or any other related field
  2. COP Long & Short
  3. Certificate in Credit/ Banking will be an added advantage
  4.  8 years branch banking experience with 3 years at management level
