The QA Engineer assists and facilitates the planning stage of the SDLC with all Agile team members. The incumbent collaborates with others in Agile teams to create test plans, manage test activities, and monitor quality deliverables. The role ensures that quality solutions are developed from the start.

The role is responsible for these KEY OUTCOMES:
- Identifying bugs and potential problems within software applications.
- Planning and performing various stages of Agile testing.
- Develop new tools, technology, and testing processes (process improvement)

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- 2 years of Banking experience
- 4 years of relevant software Quality Assurance experience
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of how QA works in the software industry
- Work experience in software development
- Familiar with development practices like Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
- Thorough experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience with both white box and black box testing
- Excellent hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working in an Agile development process (Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe), DevOps, Scrum)
- Experience with performance and security testing
- Strong technical skills including MS Office, MS Azure DevOps, and MS Power BI
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
- Relevant Software Quality Assurance Certification will be an added advantage
