Introduction
As a System Administrator, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft operating systems and cloud platforms, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems. The role will operate in a multi-country and multi-site environment, providing a 24x7x365 service to the group companies. This position may require the System Administrator to travel to each of the countries where the Capricorn Group have offices and/or subsidiaries. The position may also be required to travel for training purposes.
Job description

KEY RESULT AREAS (KRA):
  • Design, implement, and manage Microsoft-based infrastructure solutions.
  • Administer and optimize Windows Server environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of systems through regular monitoring and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and assist in resolving IT-related problems.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement best practices for system automation and configuration management.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Microsoft technologies and cloud platforms.

Minimum requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications, such as MCSE or Azure certifications, are a plus.
EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:    
  • 3-5 Years hands-on experience as System Administrator/Engineer
  • Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V, Citrix or VMware.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
