Introduction
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
To efficiently provide sales, technical and back-office support, as well as training on Bank Windhoek Point of Sale devices, Ecommerce, Integrated POS & IPN, in order to contribute to the attainment of the Bank Windhoek sales and financial targets, as well as to contribute towards operational excellence and service delivery in Bank Windhoek.
This position will be stationed in Windhoek
The incumbent will primarily be responsible for business in the Windhoek region and relief support for any other area required.

Two service delivery streams need to be taken care of in the Merchant Acquiring section:

2.1 Technical Service Delivery for BW Standalone POS, Ecommerce, IPOS & IPN
• The consultant needs to ensure that the Channel (POS) is working technically optimally for the client BW Standalone POS, Ecommerce, IPOS & IPN
• This entails that the consultant will help the client understand and be able to use the channel optimally BW Standalone POS, Ecommerce, IPOS & IPN
• Serve as an intermediary between Bank Windhoek IT Department and the client/branches BW Standalone POS, Ecommerce, IPOS & IPN
• Solve all technical queries from the client or branch regarding the channel BW Standalone POS, Ecommerce, IPOS & IPN

• Assisting branches in the setup of contracts and application forms of the clients BW Standalone POS, Ecommerce, IPOS & IPN
• Complete contact reports for all client service calls and visits BW Standalone POS, Ecommerce, IPOS & IPN
• Assisting clients and branches with service queries BW Standalone POS, Ecommerce, IPOS & IPN
• Provide Fraud training to merchants BW Standalone POS, Ecommerce, IPOS & IPN

• Contracts (Merchant agreements)
• Application Forms
• Setting up of clients / installing of services
• Service delivery (Call/Contact Reports)
• Follow up on all POS reports
• Due diligence in terms of working methodically and according to defined processes and procedures in manuals.
• Identify risk areas in the department relating to process improvements, financial losses and client impacts.
• Preparing quotations to potential clients
• Unpaid commission recovery and implement corrective measures to retrieve outstanding funds

• Report on related metrics and statistics up the reporting line
• Incident Management

Minimum requirements
Qualifications
• Grade 12
Experience
• At least of 3 years’ experience in a channel/sales related environment
• Technical aptitude with good organizational, analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (specifically related to POS devices, network, applications, etc.)
• Adequate knowledge of products and services as well as rules and regulations relevant to the job (e.g. Acquiring rules for Visa, MasterCard, Namswitch etc.)
• Adequate knowledge of procedures and systems, computer equipment and software relating to the job
• Adequate knowledge of Business Communication
• Adequate knowledge of Banks products and services
• Computer literacy essential (Word, Excel)
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
